Insurance rates on a corvette?
I am a young driver (17) and was wondering on average how much a used 2005 corvette would cost for to enjoy an insurance policy on me. It would be nice if someone familiar with the insurance industry could relay me an estimate rate. All my family is insured with state smallholding and has a pretty good history next to them.

It would be difficult to have an approximate amount short knowing what coverages you would like to opt for. Check out the quotes if you want to get the estimate at http:///www.teenautoinsquote.com Source(s): http:///www.teenautoinsquote.com

Most companies, including State Farm, would refuse to write an auto policy for a 17 year old near a Corvette.
Assuming you need "full coverage", it would probably run you around $15,000 to $25,000 a year. Because you ARE going to crack it up.
Not satisfactory information - call your parent's insurance agent and ask - but you will need model and year, engine size, and expected miles (he will enjoy the other stuff like location, etc.). Honor students, collision avoidance classes, etc. will get you a discount.
Expect it to be terrifically expensive.
