Why don't we verbs strength insurance and lately enjoy doctors and hospitals charge logical rates?
I mean, a hundred dollars (without insurance) is what the doctor now charges of late to glance at me and tell me, yep, you hold a cold. If it's 10 dollars with a copay, why not ditch the insurance altogether, and just charge the ten dollars? Or perchance only have insurance for chief hospital stays and/or surgeries.

I have other thought that same idea. Pay for the visits myself, for smaller amount then they charge now. I wouldn't mind paying $20.00 a call on. Then only have insurance for medical wants such as surgeries and emergencies. Then take the hospitals down to a sound price as well. Only have insurance for cars and houses and such and not ourselves. Brilliant thought, but unfortunately it probably won't happen surrounded by our lifetime. Maybe our kids will figure it out.
I believe they used to do that in the past the Johnson administration created Medicaid

Good question.But the answer is Doctors would a bit give you the run around so you keep have to come back so they can charge you more for each pop in,the more you come back the more you have to wages.The answer to this problem is go to the emergency room every time you get sick,,,they can not turn you down and adjectives they can do is charge you and when you don't
pay,,,they give you a unpromising credit rating, and who cares about that when you don't

This is the most reasonable solution, in my judgment. Ten dollars might be a little low, but if the markets set the prices, as they should within a free market economy, The plus of given services would be more reasonable. A market would arise for catastrophic watchfulness insurance, to pay if a major syndrome strikes, something like present health insurance near a $10,000 deductible, but no more out-of-pocket over the 10G. The drug companies need to get out of the disease business, freeing doctors to give a hand people instead of testing drugs on innocent patients for these lowlifes. My son be recently in for surgery, and it be performed at a simply wonderful outpatient facility. The employees truly go out of their way for us, and the facility was nice, not similar to an institution. I see the future of medicine beside the end of big, institutionalized hospitals, and an emergence of smaller, decentralized care near more freedom and choice.

Drs. attend college for a min. of twelve years to become a doctor...they invest contained by their future to be a physician in our country. Why would they achieve paid reasonable rate...it depends on what they are specializing within, should they charge a higher rate...it doesn't make sense.
The whole scam of co-pay and deductibles is to pay for the uninsured. My wife have an MRI and the cost was $1400 with $400 to be compensated by me. Does anyone think it really cost that much ? Welcome to the great American health insurance scam. Co - pays, deductibles, cavity insurance to cover things not covered, its all one big corn holed mess. With BC/BS I can't afford to get sick.

It's not that simple! Plain and SIMPLE it's just WRONG to profit from sick people similar to the Corporate Giants behind the Health Care Industry. They should be ashamed of themselves. We live in the stop of the FREE. We should make sure we are all competent to afford health insurance and NOT one single person should be short or left behind. It's not the answer any for taxers to keep forking the bill for welfare people. If you are competent to walk and talk and see; later you should be able to work and provide your own health insurance. That can't transpire until IT can be AFFORDABLE for ALL! RICH or POOR every citizen in this country should have vigour insurance coverage. Their are to many loop holes but some how IT has to be FIXED! We can't transport it out on the Doctor's either. They are not to blame! Without my Doctor; He's Brilliant I don't know what I would do! I'm hopeful that our NEXT President will do the RIGHT thing for us!

Medical prices used to be exceedingly fair. Then the federal government get involved and the prices went through the roof! Get the federal government out of it, and prices will stir down. This includes research, too. All research coming out of federal government labs is suspect. They have to join political agendas and may not be true.
