How dignified will our Insurance rates be in motion up when Mexican trucks hit the US highway?
They will be able to go ANYWHERE they want to and the cops can't ask them indistinguishable questions which they ask our very own trucks. How oodles people are going to die from this madness and unsafe trucks will we see on our own roads?
This is not a racist press either, because I have FACTS at my disposal to posterior up my comments about Mexican trucks not being locked.

You can have adjectives the "facts" you want to show that Mexican trucks aren't safe. There are "facts" that American trucks aren't safe any. Mexican trucks will have to follow the same rules as every other truck doing a tour.
Juding by how much superior insurance rates are in Los Angeles than in areas that don't hold tons of illegal Mexican drivers (most all insured, of course), I'd read aloud rates will go up. But more important will be the inevtable avoidable tragedy that we will see on the report one day.
I hadn't thought of that - I be just concerned with staying bad the roads to save my life! But since I own to pay for uninsured drivers even though it is against the law to drive in need insurance this sounds highly probable. It will take the actuaries a while to mind what is causing all the wrecks so we hold time to start saving now...
The teamsters are going to file a lawsuit.

This have got to be stopped.
Zero, why? The rules statewide are the same for any trucks and inspections are routine.
Boy we are really In for some human smuggling now...... How long until the first massive accident on one of our roads? Here come the drugs......
Just one of the MANY very good question regarding this program. Isn't this really just a wager on door to Bush's failed Day Laborer program? The US citizens soundly rejected this proposal and now we are getting it crammed down our throats.
I don't judge the Teamsters will take this lying down. They are one group that knows how to confrontation for jobs. None of us should allow this. It is only the first step within allowing people to cross the border to take our job. It is bad enough that any brief that can be done overseas has been sent within, now we are going to welcome foreigner's here to do our job so long as they go home at the end of the afternoon.
More so than jobs though, is the safety issue. The insurance cost is simply a byproduct of the safety. Combine that with the risk of terrorism, narcotics etc. mortal brought in and this is just an not up to scratch plan.
PS When that Mexican truck driver hits you on the road and goes to an American hospital, he won't hold health insurance and WE will foot the bill for his emergency care also.

It irks me to the bone that they would agree to these people use our highways and allow a semi trailer explicitly closed to enter our nation! Talk about a travesty!
The best thing is for US cops to be allowed to ask Mexican truck drivers matching questions they ask their own ones.
I hold to say: I don't anticipate seeing semi-trucks with some beer bellied guy playing Mariachi music while he sucks down a "cold one" and tries not to knock the chickens and goats from the top of his trailer as he barrels down the highway at 150 mph.....
Mexico isn't as "stereotypical" as general public would have it be. I actually know a few relations that don't own a burro, or a sombrero, surprising, no?
