Insurance company rate quote and planning?
I am still in college and got my driver license 3 years and 1 month ago. I be supposed to get my own car but afterwards give or take a few a year and 3 months later got put on my parents insurance. In my state the simply insurance companies available to me are: Aig, Geico, Progressive, State Farm. As I've seen so far Geico is cheapest on liability only insurance beside State Farm being cheapest with the full coverage insurance. I will probably extension up buying a car worth 4000-6000$. Any ideas on who to move about for and if it would be worth it to buy the car outright and pay liability instead of paying payments? I get a 9.9% credit card I could use too 13K line of credit.
Any ideas on when my policy rates should turn down? I am male and I have rates on for example a chevrolet aveo 2005 of roughly speaking 55$ a month liability only and $155-170 a month full coverage.

are you sure the companies are quoting you the same margins of liability? liability rates are set by the state, so they should not vary too much in price on a moment ago liability. if you can afford to replace your car if it is totalled, carry purely liab. if you can't carry full coverage with a greater deductible to keep your rate down. in my assessment, i would stay away from Geico. i have never heard a entity come in my office and praise them, merely switch companies and complain. I am really surprised that state farm is the cheapest beside full coverage as I'd looked into them a long time ago, and they were one of the highest. I would steer clear from geico as my counsin works contained by medical billing, and they never seem to want to pay the customer's medical claim (such as if it be from a motor vehicle accident/mva). I wonder if you have AAA in your state. They are not supposed to be too defectively priced. And they say that it's best to get 'no fault' insurance so that one can sue if return with injured in an mva.
