My insurance quote on a 2SS 2010 Camaro?
I just wanted to achieve an estimate of what my insurance cost would be for a 2010 Camaro since I'm 16 yrs old. In the quote I put my mom and dad also as drivers of the car and I told them I took a driver's ed course and that I have a really good gpa (which I do). My quote was $186 per month on a 2SS Camaro and I'm 16 yrs out-of-date. That thing has freakin over 400 HP. I be just wondering if I'm getting a good deal or a bleak deal. Thanks for all the aid everyone

Driving a newer car as your first is a bad perception. Trust me. While it may look cool to the other guys, you'll really be hit hard financially once you do something stupid and your premium doubles. Source(s): experience... I am 18 and drive a 2006...
Yo Yo Yo, For car insurance the easiest method to get a low quote is do a vehicle policy comparison. Be sure to choose the same coverage levels, you can go and get an accurate quote to compare against others. Use the same city/state, auto make/model, mileage and driving history to ensure you get an apples to apples comparison. To take fast auto insurance quotes, go to http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Auto-Insurance.html and you can compare the main auto insurance companies.
That is a great deal for insurance. Most likely your parents also enjoy lots of insurance with this company. Sounds good.
But other posters are right, if you find a ticket or accident that is your responsibility your rates will skyrocket. So, if you get a moving violation you must walk to traffic school to keep the ticket stale your DMV record. And, don't have any accident that are your fault. That car can do closely of damage and hurt others.
Bottom line: Be a honourable driver and you'll be o.k.
But what's the point of having 400 hp if you're not going to use it? The temptation would be near every time you start it up. All the posters are right--that's too much car for a new driver, and you'd be lucky to attain coverage on it at all at any price. If you decide to be in motion ahead with the deal--against all this advice--be categorically sure that you CAN get the insurance at that price BEFORE you go ahead; otherwise, you could be stuck near a car that you can't drive, and a lot of headache.

To Be honest,It will take a moment or two time to find the answer for the question of yours.have a look at the resource here http://www.CarInsuranceTip.info/free-car-insurance.htm for your quotation .
That quote comes out to be $2232 a year. That is the deal of the century for that kind of saloon. I have heard of teens paying more than that for a Ford Focus.
The other poster is right roughly speaking your rates skyrocketing the first time you mess up (speeding ticket, fender bender, etc). It's no big secret that sports cars are cop magnets, especially with a pubescent behind the wheel.
In my view, a Camaro SS is too much car for a 16 year old. Even if you can toy with it, it would be really tempting knowing that you can unleash that much power just by putting your foot down. I'm not dictum you are spoiled, I am saying that a 2010 Camaro isn't a good saloon for a kid.
