Business set to expand march past 1st....insurance agent not returning quotes?

i am part owner of a non-medical, in-home personal care company. we are to fire up services as of march 1 this year. I am very upset because we enjoy been working for months and months with an insurance agent about our liability, compensation, and employee benefits insurance. everytime we thought we were going to be given a quote the agent would call for more information. We finally did find another agent who is currently working on getting us a quote too (the other still hasn't come through) we were looking for some very specific things so it made it a short time difficult to find the perfect agent hence why we chose the one we did and why it took so long to find another one. my question is in the region of how much should the liability and compensation run us? we have about 15 force at the moment one RN the other 10 are CNA or personal care aides. 4 are office staff (one human being myself and my partner who is my mother, our office administrator, HR coordinator, and our program coordinator) any info would be very sympathetic thanks

OK, as you probably realize, the coverage for this can't be bound overnight, and will take a bit of work to receive put in place. You're going to need almost two weeks, MINIMUM, so if the NEW guy isn't returning calls, you need to find ANOTHER untried agent. But clearly, the first guy, both has no idea what he's doing (how to place it), AND, isn't really excited roughly working on your account.

Workers comp is probably going to run about 10% of payroll. That might be a bit lofty, but if you use that number, you won't be shocked. GL is probably going to START at $5,000, and add $500 for each provider. Employee benefits - group robustness - will probably run about $400 a person for an individual, $1200 for a family connections, for a LOW/NO deductible plan - but that varies wildly depending on the average age of your group.

Make SURE that tentative agent is working on your quote. Otherwise, you will NOT be opening the doors on March 1st.
I guess you learned if the agent does not draw from back to you, move on.

No one where on earth can quote because rates are different in every state and company. Wait until this 2nd agent gets rear legs to you with a quote. You might call another agent for a quote too so you will at tiniest have 2 of them.
