How can i possibly afford motor insurance when quoted over lb2000 !! (Uk individual plz)?

Hi. I have got a citroen AX 1993 sports car (954cc engine) which i thought would be cheap to insure but the hard thing is I am 17 and manly which i knew was other going to mean higher insurance but lb2000 a year is IMPOSSIBLE. I really can just pay monthly installments anyway as i can just more or less manage lb25-lb30 a week on insurace but cannot manage anything more really. My request for information is: Are there any similar people to me who hold found a cheaper deal? or if not how on loam can i afford this? I am not at college and only work part time due to my nouns. Please help i am contenplating suicide with adjectives these money worries. Thanks
