the defense driving course which gets me 10% off on the insurace, since i already rewarded for this 6 months, will the 10% off go onto the subsequent half year or can it still be discounted for this current cycle?

Be sure to check with your agent as not ALL insurance companies recognize the DDC course discount.
If yours DOES, they should return the difference or apply it to your renewal as a credit.
