Are here any sites where on earth I can return with a motorcycle insurance quote lacking giving adjectives my personal details?

I'm considering getting a motorbike/moped for work, and want to find out the sort of amount it's going to cost me. I understand they need a few details resembling my postcode to give me a quote, but I really don't want to be giving out name, full address, mobile phone number, email, date of birth, shoe breadth, favourite colour, what times I'm in respectively day, whether I eat cheese... OK I'm exaggerating very soon!

All I want is a rough idea of how much it's going to cost to insure a bike/moped (size unknown right now) kept in Hackney London at hours of darkness and zipping around all morning being used for work. I have no convictions, and currently don't own a licence though that will of course be sorted (another thing to sort out!)

Any aid gratefully received...

Who you are, your driving record, makes a difference surrounded by the quote. Why do you not want to give them enough information for a reliable quote?
You will not achieve a accurate figure without giving the details. If it is to be for business use and you are riding on a provisional after expect to pay at least lb1000 if you can find somewhere to insure you at adjectives.
Help yourself - you can check your quotes in internet, for example here - carquotes.sinfree.net
Most insurance companies underpinning their rates on ability to pay, so they want to run your credit dictation. That's one explanation for low rates in areas where you can see for yourself that most residence are horrible drivers. There are a few companies that solely base their rates on your actual driving record, age and model of vehicle. If you walk to Cure Auto Insurance, drivewell.com, for example, they'll only ask about your driving journal. I've only recently started seeing ad & checked out this company, so I don't know if there across the Atlantic yet.

In any defence, I have cr(a)p credit, so I know for a fact the rate will be elevated if they ask for my Social(ist) (In)security number, income, etc. And I don't give my real autograph on the quote, either. Since I've been shopping for insurance (it's expiring within a few weeks), and getting online quotes, I actually got a postcard for "Claude Kaddidlehopper" :-D
