A okay particular insurance company use lie back detector sofware at their phone central point short unfolding the customer.?

Is this illegal? I'm pretty sure it is, especially with regard to human rights etc.
Answers:
Not to worry - that sh*t don't work anyway.
Sounds great.

Where do I receive the software.
Does it work on TV soundbites.
What use is it, when no one tells the truth anyway
I work in a well certain insurance company's call centre (not the one you're conversation about) and in all honesty, I cannot see how this could be reliably implement and integrated.

Are you sure this isn't something you were told by the *bloke down the pub* ?

I'm pretty certain we don't exercise anything like that. If we do, we've never been told almost it and we don't have any set questions or scripts to follow that would indicate control question.
I'm intrigued as to how it works now. Does it flag up a message on your screen if it think the caller is lying, or does it just log its conclusion electronically when it save the quote to the system?
Does it use the data it retrieves as a rating factor that affects the final premium in any channel?

In answer to your clue about the company you work for. I hope I've answered you happy ;-)
Why are you playing distribute us a clue!? I could say tescos and what?
they have to tell u that they may dictation phone calls by law it aint clich¨¦ they'll record em but they may i'm sure they'd have to make a contribution out the same warning if they use a fake detector by law also hows it meant to work? everyones voice sounds diff surrounded by a crisis
What's the problem?
The only those with anything to fear are those making fraudulent claims! The innocent ancestors won't give a damn.
Lets support everything that helps to save premiums DOWN.
Since fib dectectors do not work, I would not worry about it.
I'm pretty sure that's illegal..in most states they even enjoy to tell you if your call is human being recorded.
what company?
Yeah I'm sure its immoral, they also have to tell you whether the call for is being recorded for anything reason.
Any type of lie detector theory test is considered inadmissable evidence from what I understand.
It's by no means illegal (in their small print and possibly when you enter their send for handling systems you may be told that calls may be recorded) - as a business they have to protect themselves from fraudulent claims. They don't use lie-detectors as such but do use sophisticated sotware that detects unusual mannerism in speech and can tell when someone sounds un-natural or stressed on the headset. This then prompts the person handling the call for to ask more pertinent questions.

As a customer, I'm glad they do this for one - the less fraudulent claims later the lower my premiums are
Any proof??
Yes I'm sure its against Human Rights.
Which company is it? Do you know? I wont be using them thats for sure!
when you call they probably right to be heard this call is being "monitored" instead of record
That would be a pretty gray area...i would think that it be checked,rechecked..as strange as it sounds....it could happen.
