When should my sports car insurance company contact me ?

I had a car chance last Friday and I am the last saloon out of 3 and I called my insurance company immediately,at that time they asked for my policy number and said they enjoy to wait for the other two drivers to contact them first and now almost two working days,I didn't receive any phone beckon from my insurance company.I am wondering if this is normal or I should give them a ring and ask for the progress of my case.
shouldn't they start the investigation now?
