Why are republicans contained by congress against political affairs competing near private vigour insurance companies?
Isn't competition a good thing according to conservatives?
Answers:
You know you can't really compete with the government, don't you?
True competition is great. But it's not true competition when the government can proffer health insurance at below-cost because they have unlimited funds from export tax payers to make up the difference. I know the left is fond of the "smooth playing field" concept. Think about it in this context. Obama's plan to proposal a "competitive alternative" is just a trojan horse. The government will contribute a plan that is so attractive (because they don't have to verbs about things like cost) that the private insurance companies will a short time ago wither away.
Government doesn't thought how much they undercut the competition. They will get the money because they will tax YOU more. My God! How stupid can nation be!?? Nothing the Government provides is free! IT raises money through taxation! The more THEY provide, the more taxes they must collect! And do you think the rich will repay for all of it? NO! They stash their cash offshore! They move to other countries! Who will be departed holding the bag? YOU! That's who!
It's a good entry for private companies to compete against each other.
There is no such thing as political affairs competing against private companies. Private companies must make a profit for their share holders, government does not variety profits. A private company needs to raise capitol buy selling stock, political affairs simply takes taxes from citizens when it needs money or worse it purely prints the money it needs.
There is no competing with a toll payer subsidized government company; all the private insurers will promptly fold and next you will have 100% socialized medicine.
This is in truth the goalof the libs (if they could ever be honest on one single dam issue), but Hillary proved in 1993 that the Libs entail to call it a different name to obtain the people to swallow it because everyone with any sense know that socialized medicine is the death toll of the Republic and autonomy.
because the government will other fail, and when they do fail they never confess it. Instead, they will put restricts on the private industry to "level the playing field" and basically net everything equally crappy. That's the way government works. YES WE CAN!
Insurance isn't expensive because of want of competition. Insurance is actually a highly competitive area for business.
Insurance is expensive because hospitals charge them so much for procedures and stays because of the hundreds of millions, probably billions, spent maintaining malpractice insurance for the hospitals and doctors.
Now...if Congress was proposing going after frivolous malpractice lawsuits as a course of preforming health care change around, I'd support it. But until something is done about families suing and hospitals settling out of court for millions of dollars per lawsuit because someone's grandmother fell surrounded by the hospital because a staff member wasn't in the room 24/7...vigour care will never be affordable.
Maybe the government will take to mean that someday.
Only if the companies close up going out of business because they can't compete. That's unfair competition. Source(s): Barry is WORSE than Carter!
Last I look there is not ONE entry that the republicans like
Insurance companies have the reps contained by their pockets
Who stands to lose the most
Which ones are placing ads throughout the states...fighting "Government takeover"
They want small gov....for over 300 million ethnic group now how will that work...it doesn't..instead stream line it and rid of overlaps and spend...but no instead they rant about gov. takeover
They are against modern posts like the new consumer manager
They are against anything that will help the people....PERIOD
The Republicans in congress are paid powerfully as are some of the Democrats to be against government competing with private strength insurance companies by private health insurance companies. That is why
The Republicans on here and on my TV don't want to have single payer. Fine.
How something like putting in regulations so that these insurance companies aren't making billions and covering our health exactness for a fair price instead of gouging us adjectives? The free market isn't taking care of it. Just close to the banks. Now what do you want to do? I mean besides the duty cuts for the super rich thing again.
You don't want to pay for other relations fine, but you are already paying for the elderly and disabled. You want to stop paying for them as well?
How is that Christian?
because its unconstitutional...thats why. some us us conservatives still believe in the rule of law, and made a fuss when W started acting as "the decider"
I can inform you this. I will not pay for government funded condition care out of my tax money if I am paying for my own private robustness care. I dont see how this "competition" is going to work.
The problem is that many conservatives in congress have much of their campaign funds donated by the health insurance companies, and so the insurance companies are very soon calling in their debt. Unfortunately, I think this is an example of how America is not as pure as we would close to to think, there is lots of corruption within the government. Stray: What don't YOU acquire? It's not free, of course, but it's FAR CHEAPER. This is a fact. People surrounded by most countries with UHC pay LESS TAXES on condition care even though our health strictness only covers a few people. Even those who settle more in taxes for their system have cheaper overall condition care. I know misanthropes who hate others and would fairly see them die than to see their taxes used to help them but why would you prefer the current system which costs more money and has worse results?
they disgust competition
Competition is good, yes. But it shouldn't be between the administration and private companies.
Competition is good. It lowers prices and increases quality/service. The problem is who in at hand right mind would pay for there private insurance and pay cheque for the government system via there taxes. Furthermore, most insurance is provided though employer. They would simply drop there plans and let the governing body deal with the hassle. This plan is a stealth plan to bring back everyone under government control.
Competition is devout but leave the GOV out as your competing against your own $ that a loosing cause.
I don't know if Charli is right or not. But I never considered it a worthy idea to turn 25% of the country's gross national product over to the government's direct control. There are a lot of industries that suffered beneath government control. like the railroad.
And I've never be convinced that Canada's system is better then the States. There has be occasions where it took several weeks to seize doctors to set a broken bone.
