My vehicle is totaled...Will the insurance company settle up the leinholder or me?

My Car has been considered a total loss. In owe nearly $35,000 and its only worth about $22,000. I hold full coverage, and I also have gap insurance. Now, will the insurance company cut a check to the sandbank ( leinholder) and pay them off, or will they issue the check of the pro of the vehicle to me?......If they pay off the guard?......Im screwed...with no car?.....thats not right?......!...Anyone hold any similiar eperiences or answers?
"> The insurance company will cut the check to the lien holder and if there is any remainder it will go to you. Happened to me more or less a year ago, if they are allowing you a rental car and you don't have a saloon by the end of the terms they stated you can usually telephone the insurance company and get it extended for a couple of days.

Good Luck, this is a stressful situation to be in.

If it be stolen and wrecked you can go after the person that did that (assuming he be caught). It might take a little longer, since you hold to go through a court system but suing them beyond the insurance pay past its sell-by date is definitely worth it in this situation.
Using google to find some relatebeside yourself or you could try using answer engines such as yahoo answer or yedda.com to obtain some useful design.however,If you want some direct infomation, here http://www.AutoInsuranceFree.info/free-auto-insurance.htm is a nice one from my experience.
