Do insurance companies equally authorize MSW as do Masters surrounded by Human Services?

I am trying to decide which masters degree to step into. I'd love to go full board and do doctorate level contained by psychology but I am 45 years old and not sure I can afford a doctorate. It sounds like the second best scope would MSW. The only school I can find that offer that near me is University of Phoenix and their Masters in Human Services.

From what I've see, the MSW degree is accepted by more insurance companies. Source(s): Working surrounded by mental health for 9 years.
I own an MSW but I am also registered with the Provincial College of Social Workers (RSW). In my experience, an MSW is only view as credible if you are registered with the regulatory body in your jurisdiction.

Who care how old you are regarding getting your PhD. If to be exact something you want--GO FOR IT!! My mom got her masters in her 50's. Regarding funding--at lease surrounded by Canada--you can get major funding at the doctorate stratum in addition to securing employment next to the educational institution. Go for it and good luck!
