How long can a insurance company appropriate to sort compensation on property loss?
My Garage had a fire about a month ago. My insurance said it be taken guardianship of by the end of the week about 3 weeks ago. They made stipend for the garage but not for what was in the garage and know they relate me they are investigating the claim. How long can they take. I was out of town when the fire started and they are making me surface like the bad guy what can i do

it will lug as long as it takes. in oct 2006, our flat get burgled. lb900 worth of stuff was taken. we had taken out the insurance 10 days previous, so we be treated as frauds for a very long time. we had loss adjusters come see us, and they though it be weird that we moved out of the flat....we were too upset to stay as after the burglary the police told us about the area (we have been very misadvised!)
within about july 2007, we finally got payments for the claim!! specifically how long that took - i know where i work we have claims for fire that are outstanding for years....somewhere adjectives down about 4 years ago and that is still an outstanding claim!!
suppose you are just going to have to swing in there and dont permit them forget about you!
as long as they want to-you need to keep hold of bothering them, find out who is handling the claim, find out why they haven't paid. It you didn't have a complete almanac of what was in your garage, they'll purloin there time.
