Would insurance company potential settle for 15K?

Auto accident....my lawyer asking for 25K, insurance company said 12K (my advocate wants to go to court and adjectives that, I really do not want to; I just want to get this over with) My legal representative said it's worth much more than 25K but that's all the limit is. If I ask the legal representative to try & negotiate 15K w/o going to court; how likely or unlikely that the insurance company (State Farm) agree? If they do agree, how long before they dispatch the check? I need to pay my doctor bills bad and get another car (I am so primed for this to be over with!!) Thanks.
Answers:
Just realize that your attorney gets 1/3 of the settlement - so the more he settles for the more he make - and the longer it takes for you to get it resolved. YOU hold to decide whether it's worth it to you to wait and see - the insurance may not modification their mind - and you could still be in the same boat.
Of course the attorney wishes the big settlement, he gets 1/3 to 1/2 of it.
