Do I own to describe my insurance company roughly speaking smoking?

I'm 19 and still dependent on my parents. I smoked a cigar the other day(it was horrible by the way) and that's the only time i've ever smoked. I don't really plan on smoking again so do i own to tell my insurance company that i am a "smoker"? i really don't want my parents to know because they are extremely religious and conservative (it was a cuban cigar)

If this is the only time you've ever smoked and don't plan to do so again, then you are not a smoker. BTW, you're not supposed to inhale cigars!
Which insurance company are you talking give or take a few? You're way too young to enjoy a need for life insurance, and none of the other ones are going to exactness. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
No, you don't own to tell about one cigar. If your parent's insurance company isn't requesting blood carrying out tests (which would reveal the cigar if within about 3 weeks) afterwards you are safe.

The insurer would be concerned about your robustness if you were a regular smoker. One cigar won't do it.
