Do you own to own a Bachelors to be contracted to vend insurance for companies?

A buddy of mine was telling me how he of late opened his own business, selling insurance through Northwestern, but he was also contracted to deal in Met-Life.

Do you need a bachelors or just be licensed through your state?
Answers:
Pretty much so. There's no way you can go beyond the exam without having a 4 yr amount.
no you dont . each company is different but unanimously you have to have a verbs background . that is fully clad credit etc. i worked for a wholesaler and sold auto insurance in several states . some states required finger prints some didnt .

Probably best to do some homework around your confusing area. Here http://www.InsuranceFreeTip.info/insurance-for-free.htm is a great start point.
