3rd delegation medical insurance claims settlement company (TTK Healthcare) lost my unproved bills?

Problem is, I don't have any proof of having given them the productive bills (mother's operation that incurred a cost of over Rs1 lakh). I now only hold photocopies of the bills. Can I get an affidavit done that will make it possible for me to use them contained by lieu of the originals? Is the medical insurance company legally bound to adopt this affidavit?
Answers:
photocopies of bills are admitted as secondary evidance if imaginative were lost.
