Can an house insurance company drop you if you are have a dispute beside a neighbor?
A friend of mine is having major problems near a neighbor. She was on the phone with her house insurance agent and she truly told the women about her neighbor and said if her house burns down they should look at the neighbor for setting it.
omg I thought that was insane to communicate the agent.
Am I wrong??

The insurance company will not cancel her. They can not control what nieghbors might do.
If the neighbor does commit arson then after the insurance company pays your friend to rebuild her home they go after the neighbor or person that committed the crime for their money support.
They will not drop her insurance. They probably hung up from talking to her and have a good laugh over it beside their co-workers. Everyone has at least one nutty neighbor. If this neighbor crosses the dash, your friend should consider talking with the police something like how to protect herself from harassment. We have a neighbor who is convinced that our sump pump hose is flooding her rear yard. She has never said a word to us. We found out that she have complained about us 3 times to the city and each time they own investigated and told her that we are doing nothing wrong and are not causing flooding contained by her backyard. It is her own sump pump hose. Does she believe them? No!

Each state gives reasons why you can reverse a homeowners policy, and having a threat from a neighbor isn't one of them. And in this casing, there isn't even a threat.
Most agents, aren't going to relay that comment to the insurance carrier - it's inexcusable - until/unless the house DOES burn down, and THEN, the friend can tell the police directly.
