Can I claim on my house insurance if..........?
I think I have a slow seep in my boiler system and my water is not heat properly. I have been contained by my house for 2 years and the boiler was here when we moved in. The previous owner advise us that she had it serviced every year and we have and it serviced once. Can I claim on my house insurance?
Answers:
if you have a gas boiler service contract eg british gas then you may know how to get it repaired under this contract otherwise you will enjoy to pay your self
If you enjoy a home warranty that covers appliances then you probably could claim the boiler under that policy. You can not claim an Appliance to be precise failing due to wear and tear against your homeowners policy unless your insurance agent added the Appliance maintenance plan which some home owner insurance companies donate. Now if the leak is causing marine damage, you may be able to claim the river damage against a traditional home owners insurance policy but it will not cover the appliances unless you have a home warranty or a home looking after policy. no, you cannot, it is a commonplace maintainence issue.
you can claim insurance IF that leak causes some other wounded, but you cannot claim insurance for itself, you should get an insurance which covers appliances maintainence as well. Source(s): http://www.contentsinsurancecover.co.uk/
No - that is a keeping & repair issue. Homeowner's insurance is not a home warranty.
If you are talking about a alien buyers policy and it is still in force, then I don`t know ; but if you are talking about regular homeowners insurance, later no, that is for covered loss (theft, fire etc).
You place an insurance claim when you have lost something relatebeside yourselfhe home. Thus far, you've lost nothing.
