What company is your house insurance through?
Who insures your house and are you happy with the premium amount?
Answers:
I'm insured w/ Farmers. I'm not happy w/ the premium but it was still the cheapest by far. My house be built in 1838 so it was tricky to find a company that would insure it in the first place!
I'm insured through State Farm, and I'm happy with my premium because I get a multiline discount with them through my auto insurance.
I haven't had to put a HO claim through them surrounded by 10 years (thank goodness), so I don't know what will happen if it happens. But I'm paying the money for peace of mind have a national insurer backing me up.
My house is insured through State Farm. When I shopped it out two years ago, it be BY FAR the most expensive policy of all the quotes I got.
But it ALSO have the most broad coverage.
Obviously, I don't buy insurance with price as the primary consideration. The COVERAGE is more important to me. Source(s): agent (and not a state smallholding agent, either), 21+ years
I think the more central question is were you contented with your insurance company after you had to record a claim. it is easier to be happy when you are just paying premiums and own no claims/losses. i advise you check into consumer ratings of different companies; i believe Clark Howard -a consumer advocate- has info more or less this on his website. also get everything in writing and save notes regarding adjectives conversations with anyone in your insurers organization. we were with state dairy farm for many years, had no complaints (premiums be not out of line with norm) and after we had a claim and have been/are extremely dissatisfied. honest luck!
Erie Insurance. Decent premiums, great service.
