Anyone know anything roughly house insurance?
i have a leak from apipe which have damaged my downstairs neighbours. i have be told that i am liable for the damage. But is it true that they need to foot for the damage claim it through their own insurance who in turn rest monies from mine?

first is this a house or and apartment or condo? if it is an apartment it will cover the resulting damage. if it is a house same entry applies but, you will have to get a plumier to fit the pipe

When you say downstairs neighbours I pilfer it you live in a flat and water have got into their premises,they need to gain a quote for repair and you can present it to your insurance company and they will tell you if they are willing to reward out,other than that see what the damage is and walk halves it may be cheaper
