Would I be allowed to claim on my house insurance if my LCD TV have a 1cm gluey pixel vein from top to bottom?
Basically my LCD tv has a noticeable pixel dot going from top to bottom of the screen on one side..do u think I would know how to claim on my home contents insurance for this?

Well, what have happened to the TV to cause this? How mature is tv, it really sounds like a manufacturing bad habit! Which is not covered, try going back to where you bought this.
No, products with flaws through normal use are not covered by home insurance, and your deductable is most promising FAR greater than the cost of a new tv.
