Do I hold a bag? House fire lost everything insurance won't repay.?
My wife and I have 4 children. My home burned down due to a dryer fire 1.5 years ago. The insurance company said they dispatched someone and they were on their bearing with a check for $10,000 while the fire was still smoldering. What a nouns...not so fast, They called fund 20 minutes later and claimed we were cancled due to a check that bounced a couple weeks more rapidly. So I called back and spoke to a representitive and he said if I made a grant right away we would be covered and caught up til the end of the month. I compensated by credit card over the phone. What a relief right? not so fast. The company turned around and said we be covered all month long except on the day of the fire. Now they are sending me bills and it is affecting my credit because I haven't salaried them since. We feel like we own been raped. We had a $100,000. policy and very soon they claim my phone was disconnected and this is why they did not notify us that our policy was cancled. They even sent out ann adjuster to whip pics.

I can`t bear insurance companies. Greedy, worthless, useless entities. The one post said it....satan incarnate. They take your money and produce nothing within return.
Get a lawyer. Gather ALL your documentation, names, date, times, everything. Proceed to prosecute the insurance company to the fullest extent of the law.
They don't deserve your money, or anyone else's in my feelings.
You MAY have a grip, but the "bounced check" thing may sink your case...
I believe you do have a crust. They said themselves that they would cover you if you made a payment right away on that bounced check. That is the one thing that might hurt you but a polite attorney will get you out of that. Sue them for not paying up and tack on lawyer fees also.
You need to get surrounded by touch with a public adjuster in your nouns.Insurance companies hate them because they work for you.They may be able to serve or further investigate the situation for you.They dont get paid untill the insurance company pays you.They will not transport your case unless they are sure you have one.A public adjuster will gain you the most money for your fire.

What will happen is your insurer's Errors and Omissions insurance (a type of reinsurance) will probably do some interviews with their company and resolve to settle with you out of court.
