Can an insurance company drop a policy if your house is too outmoded?
Answers:
Yes, they can cancel the policy if the houses condition does not touch their requirements. They expect the house to be kept up, new roof, etc.
You may have trouble getting coverage elsewhere as capably if the house is in poor condition.
Most likely they know the age of the house,
because the question is on the application. If the agent has binder authority , contained by other words he can write the risk before inspection, just base in your answers but the company still is going to inspect the house and I think they undo the Policy because of house conditions or the age of the house was misstated
They can choose not to renew your policy, however they cannot rescind mid-term unless the age of the house was misrepresented to them on the application.
Do think so if they enjoy already agreed a policy and you have taken it out, It would be there reproach if they have made the error and if they where to put an end to i would demand a full refund
sure
YES. I work for State Farm Insurance so Im reliable.
~~As far as my understanding goes an insurance company can demur a policy to anyone for any reason. That is why being a long occupancy customer of an insurance company is important versus choosing insurance to save on premiums. When you are a longstanding customer later you stand a great chance of coverage for life. I know next to State Farm it has never dropped a policy holder in my entire kith and kin no matter how old their homes or cars, or driving documentation got.~~
