Would interior doors beside cup pane at the top partly poise a problem for my landlords house insurance?

Answers: What kind of problem? Are they HIS doors, or yours? If they are yours, it's an "improvement & betterment" and your proprietor isn't responsible to maintain it until you move out and leave it aft.

But it's your landlord's property, so if he's telling you not to put them in . . . capably, it's his right to. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
Maybe, but only in the worst shield scenario.

It won't cause his property coverage a problem, but perhaps the liability could pose a problem. Look at it this means of access. If the landlord knows you are varying doors inside the house to ones with glass, and allows you to do that, he can protect himself next to a waiver stating you, and you alone would be responsible for any injuries incurred from glass from those doors.

Once you move out, however, if the landlord leaves them contained by, and if they get slammed too hard, and the cup breaks, he could be responsible for someone getting injured by falling or flying glass. Now he knows within is glass in in that, glass breaks easier than wood (in a door), and yet he consent to them stay there.

Liability is founded not only on an accomplishment, but sometimes a failure to act. Although the scenerio I posed may not materialize, always prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Perhap you could reach a compromise, and procure either safety cup or acrylic which doesn't break. Source(s): Multiline claims adjuster, 20+years
I can't imagine how it could. I've been an insurance agent for 18 years within 2 states and never have I asked that question of an insured or have a company ask me that question about a property. Are you the one that wishes to install them? That may be the problem, not the insurance. Are you willing to leave them when you hand down? Do you really want to put money into a building you don't own?
