Is at hand a process to find out a those homeowners insurance?
My daughter broke her arm at daycare. It turns out the lady doesn't have liability insurance. She refuse responsibility and won't give me info. Is there a path to find out her homeowners insurance carrier? (This is in KS)
Answers:
Your best option would be to database suit against her. Her homeowner's insurance might pay out in the trial, though that's unlikely.
sure, sue her and then you can ask her to identify her holder .... in some states you may be able to draw from this kind of information before file suit
best bet is to call a couple of lawyers and ask ... this is the kindly of question they probably WILL answer on the phone
but recall the previous suggestion here ... there has to be some failure or you're not going to recover anything
Well unless she have a business attachment to her homeowners they will not pay for any injury done at the home for a daycare. Only covers guest, not customers, she would have have to pay an additonal premuim to have coverage for a buisness on her homeowners.
Next if the year care was at knock just sue her, small claims court will be fine, if she has any insurance, she will turn it over to them, except, you will win a judgement against her.
Of course there has to be some mistake or neglect, if your daughter merely feel or have an accidnet not the daycares fault, they are not really liable for anything
