Average homeowner insurance for SE Cape Coral, Florida ?
Does anyone know the average house insurance for the SE area in Cape Coral, Florida. I know that it have gone up because of weather conditions, but I was just wondering what the average insurance is right in a minute. I am thinking about buying a house that was built contained by 1992, it has a hip roof, and is equipped with storm window and everything, if this may help. Thanks for the imput!!

Well, we live contained by CT and we were in Cape Coral ending week looking at houses. For a 2,000 sq ft house its 2,300-3,000 per year- per the realtor.
They also said buy a home built after (I think) 1993-because they were build better per code and the insurance is cheaper.(Double check the exact year)
