~~We own had State Farm Insurance for home and auto for almost 30 years. I love them because they are a premium insurance and at a very just rate. We have had two trunk home claims, and never received a rate increase or cancellation. Auto is the same course, never a problem with claims.

What I was truly amazed in the region of is how quickly our large home claims be dealt with. I have a pipe burst under the floor of my dining room, and they approved everything over the phone to begin verbs up. The adjuster was out the next daytime and cut a check. I had just have surgery so they even offered us a cleaning service (from having to cut the foundation to get to the pipe), and hotel coverage, anything we needed. They be amazing, and I would never think about varying!

I know the longevity of being with them help. Everyone in my family uses them and not a soul has ever had one complaint. I hold a huge family, so that is proverb something about this great company.

I live in So. California~~
Priyanka, Home insurance covers lots of different things. I don't understand adjectives the details of my policy, but my homeowners insurance agent is always helpful. Try visting your agent or a agent contained by your area. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Home-Insurance.html They should be able to assist you.
My wife and I have Nationwide Insurance on our home. nationwide is a reputable company, and is contained by excellent financial condition. (No bailout needed)

Yes, credit is a factor in your rate, or even if you qualify for homeowners insurance.

I would recommend Nationwide to anyone. Source(s): Retired agent, 30 yrs.

I'm within Texas, too.

I have State Farm. When I shopped this out, they were if truth be told the MOST EXPENSIVE. However, I don't shop just based on rate - I shop base on coverage.

State Farm was the only carter I found to insure me, who would offer me the HOA (special) form. All the others, give you an HOB (broad) form. What that funds, is two basic things: 1. State Farm covers more different types of losses than anyone else (particularly here in TX, foundations, and despoil to underground pipes) and 2. if there's a question about what exactly cause the damage, on the HOA form the burden of proof falls on State Farm to prove that it's NOT covered. On an HOB form, the burden is on the insured, to prove that it IS covered. In other words, YOU have to hire the obtain.

So State Farm is who I use. I'm an agent, have been an agent over 20 years, but own never worked for State Farm.
