Anyone know anything more or less sewer/drain backup systems and home owners insurance?

I just bought a house and my insurance agent told me to make sure and find out if the house have a sewer/drain backup system. Such as a sump pump. And if it doesnt then I think I'm "supposed" to attain some extra "thing" on my home owners insurance to cover that. Anyone know anything about any of that??
Answers:
It's one of those riders that the insurance companys have. There are so masses different ones. You have to decide if you guess you'll ever need it. It's like a special warranty on that one possible problem.
Look on your homeowners insurance/warranty paperwork. It will list
everything that is covered & optional items that can be added for a extra fee. Look it over then christen your agent. I'm not sure or your home
setup up or needs are.
Its called flood insurance. Normal home owners insurance does NOT cover floods or sewer fund up. Your insurance agent will help with the details. The federal administration will issue the policy.
