I have tesco's home insurance and cancelled my direct debit?

They are now sending me a bill for two months payments, (after I cancelled my direct debit). I thought when I cancelled my direct debit that was it. Do I own to pay these two months of payments? What will they do if I do not pay?
Answers:
Yes you will own to pay the % per annum of insurance for cancelling insurance check the small print ,adjectives insurance policies charge this .
What You need to do is contact your insurance company and consent to them know you want to cancell your Policy with them. THAT SHOULD BE THE 1ST THING ANYONE DO WHEN THEY WANT TO CANCEL ANY POLICY OR CONTRACT!! Source(s): www.insurance-aig.com
depends what you signed
just write to them explaining what you own said, but if you took out a years contract you might stil have to pay that year read the small print
read the small print.
You need to cancel your policy beside Tesco's, as far as they are aware you still have one but you aren't paying for it!
You are dum dum.

You hold to cancel the POLICY with Tesco first and next automatically your direct debit will be cancellled.

Not the other way around
