Anyone experience a sewer backup (disaster) surrounded by your home? Did your insurance oblige?
Answers: yes - we live in new hampshire. we go to vacation in florida within the winter. while we were gone the pipes in our bathroom froze and we didn't know it till we get home and flushed the toilet :(
poopy water started coming out of the tub and bathroom sink :(
that was 5 years ago.. what a plumbing bill that be. but no - we never did get any help from our house insurance. something just about that they don't cover acts of nature - resembling extreme cold weather. check with your insurance thou - every company is different in different states
