If a monthly gross is lb1,017 beforehand due and National Insurance, how much would I bring home per month?
I'm moving to the UK and don't understand the pay system. Any aid would be greatly appreciated.

That salary is not enough to live on. Quite frankly, how would one survive on income of lb1,017 per month contained by UK unless one lived rent free while there. This is not much more than the minimum wage. National Insurance is a minimum of lb95 per week and you will find that is is difficult to win any sort of accommodation for less than lb150 per week.
You are allowed to earn lb6,475 in the past paying tax then you will income 20% on the balance over that amount.
