Does your home insurance premiums budge up if you report a claim?
My car got broken into and my saloon ins. company told me to make a claim through my parents homeowners ins. to replace the stolen items from inside m y car. my parents waste to make the claim cause they construe their premium will go up...is this true?

I have State Farm for both home and auto. I have individual filed 1 claim in 3 years and it be a $10,000 claim to have my floors redone do to hose damage. (pretty expensive and it did not raise any insurance)
