Home-Owners Insurance Carriers...?
Hello, I'm opening an independent insurance agency and realize getting carrier-appointments could be tough. Does anyone know which carriers that write home-owners business contained by NJ would be more inclined to offer an appointment to a new agency? Thanks deeply!

There aren't any. They're all going to want to see your experience first.
You're going to have to verbs in some major favors next to all the underwriters and marketing people you enjoy, and just hope for the best.
And if you're in Trenton, it's not going to begin. Contrary to the law, redlining is alive and well - and especially cleverly disguised as not appointing agents in target areas.
Most beginning p&c agents, any broker it through someone else for a commission split, or use fair plan, or use wholesalers.
You say you're channel an new agency, but are you a brand new agent as economically? If no didn't you make any contacts with any of the insurers you worked near prior to opening your agency? Maybe it's not too late to start calling rear the insurers you used to represent and inquire with them. If you are a brand new agent not a soul is going to consider you. You would be better off working for another agency/brokerage for a few years and get some experience previously striking out on your own.
