Ok somone broke surrounded by my home and I requirement to know is my stuff covered below insurance.

Ok somone broke in my home and I need to know is my stuff covered underneath insurance. Problem is I bought the laptop in my brothers name. Because when I be 17 I didn't have any credit to purchase it. And my lcd tv is in my describe but my mom is a co-signer for it. Does these things has to be in the home insurance owner label to be covered. I called the insurance company she said it takes 48 hours for me to speak to someone within regard to that. So I need to know is this true.
I'd get a manager. AS long as you can prove the laptop be there (police report) it should be covered by most policies. TV is yours.
Sounds fishy. I don't know why it should take 48 hours for you to file your claim. Make sure you're conversation to the right people at the insurance company. This may be someone trying to save a claim by making you report later than required.

As long as you have insurance and proof that the items existed, they should be covered. HOWEVER, some items require special riders on your insurance (jewelry, collectibles, etc.). It's possible that some things are not covered on your policy. If you don't own a copy of your policy, get one from your agent and read it thoroughly.

Also make sure that you enjoy filed a police report. The insurance company will not pay a dime if you don't record a report.

.
It will be covered regardless of who owned it. The insurance company will not require proof that you purchase it as long as you don't make claims that start to sound false.
Have you filed a police report? Insurance will probably require this so if you haven't spoken to the police you inevitability to ASAP.

As far as the items, your policy probably covers contents within the limits of the policy. Unless you hold a "rider" on the policy, your policy will only cover items owned by you. Do not tell the insurance company that the laptop is your brother's. It is yours if you bought and compensated for it. Sometimes people put in claims for items they never owned, so insurance will ask for documentation but you don't own to provide them with "loan" information.

Keep in mind that unless you enjoy replacement cost insurance coverage, they will only give you the depreciated worth of the items.

Make a claim. If there is anything that shouldn't be covered, they'll deny that part of the claim. Put the orb in their court--report what happened and see what they want to remuneration for.
If you have content insurance it has an automatic payout of a unshakable amount, depending on your policy. It won't matter whom had what within whatever name. You might own to produce some receipts but most times not.
