Who else think the "Shiela's Wheels" home and sports car insurance advert are sexist?
and do you also think that those adverts be created by feminists?
Answers:
Sexist and bloody annoying, and no you can bet they were created solely by men.
I REALLY wanted to live in Australia until i realised how flippin annoying the twang be with that advert day within day out!! STOP IT...ITS DRIVING ME NUTS!!
yh
It can be construed as being sexist, yes. However, as boyfriends/husbands etc. can be put on the insurance too, then it benefits everyone surrounded by the long run.
The opinion behind 'shiela's wheels' is to target the female driver marketplace - as if sheila's wheels is somehow automaticaly better than any other car insurance. Which I doubt.
If their policy is to somehow discriminate and financialy have a preference women just because they are women then yes they are totaly sexist.
I would enjoy to say that I think the ad are a bit sexist but it's the actualy policies you would have to look at to see wether the company acts within a sexist manner.
As for created by feminists. Not necessarily, there are professional marketing men (and women) who devise these things cos they cogitate they can corner a slice of the market
its because women are more carfull than men although men can be put on the insurance although it is jarring
They can all own accidents with this company if they resembling. I don't mind!
go to the pub more habitually mate
There are masses adverts that are sexist - for both members of disparate sex
its a stupid advert and iritating
Annoying more like.
i wont complain but if you had insurance for of late men there would be complaints and could you imagine if they come up near white or black only insurance there would be upraw i ponder sexism is seen as less serious than racism
really stupid should be removed
eeeeeeerrrrrrrrr thts all i gotta say
I've thought that since those incredibly annoying adverts started. I'd like to see a vehicle insurance firm for men only, I'd absoultely love seeing all the feminists complaining within women's mags and on the news and everything about it human being sexist.
Dunno roughly sexist, but they're liars.
I rang around for quotes & theirs was the most expensive.
It's irony. Come on, subsequent you'll be complaining that the presenters on Top Gear drive too fast.
OH for goodness sake gain a life, because if this is the only entry you have to complain about, I really pity you....Its lone an advert silly man...and I presume that is what you are.
