Can a contractor put a lien on your home if the final insurance pay be sent to you after a lien waiver?
lien waiver sure can as that is not a release of lien for work done.
If he can prove he was not compensated in full he can. He can also get you for pinching if the payment was supposed to be for him & you kept it. Lien waiver mode he has paid his sub contractors & for materials. But if you have a contract & didn't pay him he can attach the home. Pay the man! Source(s): 23 years mortgage business.
