Personal Insurance for home base business?
I sell Avon and was wondering what type of insurance I needed for my personal self. I do nto want to pay packet an arm and leg for it so I was hoping someone had some suitable sugggestions..

Check near your homeowners carrier, for this type of business, some companies have an inexpensive sponsorship they can add to your homeowners policy.
It will probably be cheaper to switch to a carrier that writes this, than it would be to pay packet for a business policy ($400 and up).
Most home insurers donate some sort of home based business coverage. While this is cheaper than a regular commercial policy they only adopt certain classes of businesses. I don't know of any who would accept cosmetic sale as an acceptable class of business, however this doesn't mean your won't. Contact the broker/agent who arranged your home insurance and inquire beside them. Even if your homeowner's insurer don't the same broker should be able to quote you on a commercial policy.
