If I am fired for working from my home bureau, may I collect laying-off insurance benefits?

I was hired by a company with a branch bureau in New Jersey. However, my signed offer epistle states that my home office is in Brooklyn, NY. (I money New York City and New York State taxes and do not pay New Jersey taxes). Still, I am continually harassed for not coming to the New Jersey organization.

If I'm fired for not working at the New Jersey office, may I still collect job loss insurance benefits? My pay checks are being sent to the New Jersey organization. If they are not sent to my office in Brooklyn, are they technically withholding my salary?
