Home Roofing insurance.....?
There is a leak in the upstairs hallway of my house that is coming from the outside of the house. i called the insurance to try and take home a claim and they went out an inspected it, they found some missing shingles however say because they see no sign of direct desecrate they cannot help....i know my insurance covers water from the outside..what can i do? Does anyone know where on earth there are any rules and regulations or guidelines for such a thing??
Answers:
Normal wear & gash is listed as insurance claim.
Wind, hail, fall tree branch, etc.. is the normal claims. Of course, you will have to moniker the day of this wind/hail that caused the bring down. Check your policy; each one has differences.
If the hurt was caused by a pre-existing condition such as feeble, worn or missing shingles or other neglect, the insurance policy will not cover the resulting water injury. Usually, policies only cover storm-type damage.
