I am trying to undestand the Home owner's insurance process....Do I still acquire the 2nd check(Depreciation) stern?

My insurance company told me that there will be 2 separate checks paid out to me one formerly the work and the other after roof has been replaced. My sound out is do I still get my 2nd chk even if my all my costs are covered beside my 1st check. I have to fax the invoice to my insurance company regardless.
