What dog breeds tilt your home owners insurance?

Anyone know?
Answers:
The bulliest dogs are untrained dogs.
I've never heard of an insurance company that increases your rate due to a owning any form of dog. All companies, however, have a "restricted" dog list, aim if you own one on that list, they will not insure you at all. All companies will hold their own list, and GSD's make that inventory quite often. You are best stale calling your company in advance if you are planning on getting a dog.
any of the breeds they consider aggressive.
chows
rotts
dobes
bully
or if the dog have been known to be aggressive.
best track to know is ask your insurance agent.
I just took out a new content insurance, they didn't even ask if I enjoy a dog, so I don't see what difference it makes at all? Its the pet insurance beside liability cover which is "breed specific" NOT content or building insurance. Dogs are NOT covered on your contents insurance.
should be black labs...seeing that they are responsible for the most bites contained by the usa per year....but mostly dogs in the working and sporting catagories
Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, pit bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Siberian Husky, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Wolf hybrid. I am sure there is more but this is al i know
You need to call your insurance company and find out. Different areas hold different regulations, and different companies list different breeds.
They are much harsher on the "bully breads" like pits, dobies, rots, shepherds and sometimes even boxers. If you get a lab, golden or any small breed dog you should be ok
My cousin had one of those Cane Corsos and it raise hers..It was very anticipate, she had to shoot it with a pistol because it be attacking her son.

:/
All the "bully" breeds - dobies, rotties, pits, etc.
yes but some insurance wont cover them n if they found out you have him they could drop you a friend of mine had a rott her insurance dropped her till she got insurance on him so she have to or not have homeowners insurance.you have to bring up to date them you have the dog if they go by your house n see the dog you will return with a letter through mail asking proof of insurance on the dog.they do be in motion by homes to see if theres any changes to the houses.my homeowners sends me a paper every yr to steep out on what breed of dogs i have.my poms one is mean n they know it but my homeowners does cover her.most dogbites surrounded by ohio n dog attacks is pittbulls.had 2 pitts attack my golden once n he was on a tie up in my yard both be shot n killed before they could kill in cold blood my dog.

You need to check with your insurance agent - some companies do not put on a pedestal your premiums, they cancel you all together and other companies next will not write you, so then your mortgage Company can foreclose on you!
