Acl sprain- how do I repair it at home? No condition Insurance!?
I did manage to get a brace though. I entail to get my knee rear legs in shape. It has be sprained since March 1st. Any help would be appreicated.

The same thing happened to me. My physio give me 4 stretches to do. The stretches were Hamstring, Calf, Hip Flexor, and Hip/Glute Stretch. If you dont know how to do these then newly search them up. Make sure you hold the stretches for a minimum of 30 seconds. The sense for the stretches is that your knee (if your muscles are tight) depends on these muscles to work but if the muscles are to tight they put stress on the knee making it more prone to injury. As in good health she told me to do single legged squats to strengthen the muscles that support the knee.
Keep the brace on it and stay past its sell-by date of it as much as possible. Completely severed mine and it isn't fun having it repaired. You knee is lacklustre and you have to be careful. The slightest turn can get it pop out of place. It is just close to a sprain on the ankle, you have to really baby it. Get a brace that keep the knee straight and in correct position if you already haven't. If it persist I would go seek medical help out....
How do you know it is just a sprain and that you injured the ACL? The best you can do is rest the knees for 4-6 wks to allow it to heal. The brace is probably rather useless within stabilizing the knee unless there are metal bar on the sides. Make sure you are keeping your quad muscle from shutting down by tightening the muscle with your leg straight out in front of you and pushing the vertebrae of your knee down. Hold for 10 seconds and do it 10 times. Do this each day for the next 2 wks. Also make sure the knees doesnt stiffen up by trying to bend it fully several times a day.
