Will insurance cover a dimensional shingle upgrade if we currently hold 3 tab shingles on our home?
Our insurance will be covering 100% of our roof from a wind/hail storm. We have 3 tab shingles now and we want dimensional shingles since they are stronger and look better as in good health. Will our insurance cover the upgrade or do they cover the exact same thing we have very soon?

Not likely. Most insurance covers replacement only. You could parley to whoever does the roofing and see how much extra it would cost you.
