Answers:
out of all the years skating i have never hear of anyone getting insurnace on thier back yard ramp and i honestly dont ponder you will be able to find a place to do this as the risk factors are tooooo soaring..Are you worried about someone getting hurt on your Ramp ? I have have many mini ramps and building another one right immediately and what i always do is make up papers for kids to sign if they want to skate the ramp and own thier parents come by and sign them also saying your not at fault if thier kid get hurt on your ramp and they can not sue you over it and thats all you really half to do.....I have a few people jump my barrier and skate my ramp i got home and found a few kids out thier and one was hurt and they tryed to sue and adjectives that crap but i did not give them permision to be on my property as i called the cops and told them and made a report and when i go to court the judge dismised thier case and i won my couter becouse they have no reason for being surrounded by my back yard contained by the first place as i shown him all the slips i had parents sign for thier kids...Another piece is lock your ramp up and chain the flatbottom and both sides of the trany that way they cant skate it unless your thier....I hope this answerd your question and helped you out in some bearing...
I think this may apply to your give somebody the third degree as well ..

I have a full-size above ground swimming pool (vinyl) in my back courtyard.. It is considered to be 'uninsurable' because it is not a 'permanent' structure by the definition of the insurance company..
If it was made of a durable material (like cement.. and be surface level) it would be insurable.
If it can be easily assembled and disassembled.. it is not permanent, and in consequence uninsurable.
So, without knowing a definite answer to your cross-question, I will say it has more to do beside how it the object is constructed rather than what it in reality is.
Skateboard ramp would be considered personal property & would be covered under most home policies. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying smaller quantity than 1/2 after I did.
