Best strength insurance for bariatric surgery?
I live in Florida and am trying to have bariatric surgery. What company's will salary for the surgery in Florida?
Answers:
If you NEED bariatric surgery now, and you don't have any insurance coverage, you're not plausible to find someone willing to insure you AT ALL. Period.
If you DON'T need bariatric surgery, most companies exclude coverage for it anyway. The ones that don't, net you jump through hoops trying to avoid it.
You're BEST off contacting some local, independent agents (like the guy that writes your house and/or motor insurance) and asking THEM. Source(s): agent, 21+ years
you'd do all right to assume 'none' and try to find a job in command.
new employees may very well be covered under a company's health plan, and the insurer have likely insisted on an exclusion for pre-existing conditions -- meaning you'd not be covered for what you want.
However, lots union sponsored or negociated health plans do not own exclusions for pre-existing conditions so that seems like the mode to go. And in Florida (where I also live) grouping shops are mostly government operations.
frontwards!
Approvals for bariatric surgery are usually on an as-needed basis. I dont guess anyone can provide you a list of guaranteed approval companies.
I personally have mine covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Also, try www.obesityhelp.net for a great forum with lots of guidance for adjectives aspects of the surgery. Insurance, health, etc. Source(s): Me, bariatric patient.
