It should not be a religious thing. Why should we give Government more control? It should be free marketplace. Take insurance co. out completely!

Because it weaken the number of soldiers in God's army. Everyone knows that Christianity win most of its converts from the injured and ill.
Most Christian's dont. It's lone the rich ones that do. And unfortunely the rich ones represent the entire population in the government. Kind of approaching I am sure that not everyone in Kansas (including me) are stark mad republicans. But the rich of this state are republicans and consequently that is how we are presented.

Perhaps some Christians, like myself, doubt the ability of the command to lower costs and raise standards, given that the government have screwed up pretty much every program they've ever initiated. Of course, that has little to do with Christianity and more to do near observations of how good government is at not spending incredible amounts of money while failing to get done much that's worthwhile.
I don't think it's an issue of religion as much as economics.

Economically speaking, some ethnic group do not want to cover the cost of insurance for people who do not (for whatever reason) foot the bill for their own strength care. Critics see socialized medicine as inferior to tablets in America's market base economy, and they want more control over their own financial resources. They see large command programs as failures that cause too much intrusion within taxpayer's lives.

I'm not sure where I lie on this issue. I'm inclined to refute it after seeing the problems with socialized medicine contained by Britain. Some people cannot even get contained by to see a doctor for simple things like a tooth pull.
