Health Insurance plan near no pre-existing clause?
Does anyone know of any health insurance plans for the Chicago area that don't include a pre-existing clause? Or more specifically, ones that quickly pay for Remicade after switching insurance plans?
Answers:
In most cases if you can prove that robustness insurance was in effect for at smallest a year before the new policy took effect adjectives pre-existing clauses are waived. Source(s): retired insurance agnt
Health Insurance varies by state, but here in CT, group robustness is guaranteed issue with no Pre-ex. Individual insurance will cover some Pre-ex, but you would have to check next to a local insurance agent who knows the Chicago market.
The only time you can catch out of preexisting clauses, is through a group policy, with an employer, IF you have proof of no lapse within coverage (or less than 30 days lapse). Source(s): agent, 21+ years
When the prefix 'pre' is placed before the word 'existing' it can lone mean the clause never existed! Source(s): http://www.answers.com/topic/pre
I don't believe you will find an individual policy that will cover pre-existing conditions immediately. You will usually grasp group coverage (depending on the company's waiting period) that will cover it, if you had coverage and did not go 63 days lacking other group coverage.
